Throughout the years, we have dedicated ourselves to serving not only our neighbors, but also our community. Whether through food drives, youth programs, or outreach initiatives, our mission has always been to uplift those in need.
Through generous donations from business sponsors and donors, we fund and award the following community-focused initiatives:
DR. W. RON SAILOR SR. SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Since 2016, we have awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to Gwinnett County students. We want to continue this by awarding another $15,000+ dollars in scholarships to our future leaders. It is with your support that we will again fund scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic school year.
OUR PAST INITIATIVES
NORTHEAST GEORGIA HOMELESS VETERANS SHELTER
With These Hands, Inc. has worked with the Northeast Georgia Homeless Veterans Shelter in Winder, Georgia. We were able to equip homeless veterans with supplies at this 50-bed facility. One immediate goal that we accomplished was repairing the flag pole so the American flag could proudly be displayed. This was very important to the veterans.
BETHESDA HOUSE
In the past we have partnered with Family Promise of Gwinnett. The Bethesda House, a ministry of Christ the King Church, opened its doors to those who were in a difficult season of life in the spirit of love and compassion, offering temporary housing for homeless families on multiple occasions throughout the years, for seven days at a time.
NEW TEACHER CLASSROOM SUPPLIES
In 2019, With These Hands, Inc. partnered with Dacula Cluster schools to award grants to new teachers in the local schools. These grants equipped new teachers with the means to create a creative and fun learning environment in their class rooms.
